Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Jeanine — founder of Kashae Wings of Hope.

Family has always been at the heart of my life. I’ve been married for 47 years and am blessed with four sons, seven beautiful grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three much-loved dogs who keep life busy and joyful.

I was born in South Africa and now call Australia home. My journey has always been shaped by a deep connection to people, community, and the belief that business can be a force for good.

Eighteen years ago, I started Kashae Wings of Hope with a simple vision — to create opportunities for talented artisans who deserve fair income, dignity, and hope for their families.

Today, we work with artisan communities in:

• Madagascar

• South Africa

• Nepal

Every product you purchase helps support sustainable livelihoods, empowers women, and preserves traditional skills that have been passed down through generations.
